This is, I think, Charlotte’s new puppy. Four of us travelled to Klienmond, a small town about an hour away to pick up puppies for Charlotte and Hattie. This was the best photo from our trip.

This is the ice rink at Grand West Casino. It is quite popular, especially around Christmas. It is strange to see people whizz past even though they have lived in a stinking hot country all their lives, and I can’t even stand up on skates :)

We went on a township tour today. I don’t take too many photos of people but this one stood out to me. Something about the calmness of the township being represented in their faces and postures.

We took James to the bottom station of the Table Mountain cableway to look at the view over Cape Town. I likes this view more and the photo did it justice. The peak is Lion’s Head.

We spent most of today house-sitting Charlotte’s new house with her. Her pool is rather large and we spent a lot of time in the water and out in the sun. The garden has a wonderful view over the treetops to the mountains that separate Constantia from Hout Bay on the other side.
